An Alexander Lesson

An Alexander lesson is a learning and discovery process. During a lesson, the teacher uses both spoken instructions and a gentle touch to guide you through various activities such as sitting, standing and walking. You develop an awareness of your habits and co-ordination in thought and movement, and learn greater ease, poise and efficiency.

After a very short time, you can play chopsticks on the piano. Virtuosity requires a lifetime commitment. And there are many stages in between. A course of ten to thirty lessons can provide a sound basis for long-standing change and discovery.
